A re-release of one of our earliest products.
The etch consists of 5 pairs of stiles (ladder side members) to make 5 ladders.
The fret also has a jig to simplify building them. To use, fold the guides 90 degrees. Clear the slots with a piece of fret waste. Clear the holes in the stiles with a broach to take the rung size of choice (typically 0.3-0.4mm). Clip the stiles into the jig and then add overlength rungs from suitable wire. Solder the rungs in place, avoiding concentrating heat in one area (as this will cause the ladder to bend). Remove the ladder, clip rungs to length and clean up, for a fine and tidy-looking scale ladder.
